The recently completed Sydney office of advertising agency Leo Burnett is featured in the 30th anniversary issue of Artichoke in an article that highlights the unique challenges of designing offices for an advertising agency ‘where creativity is so closely aligned to commerce’.

Working closely with Leo Burnett’s creative directors and the CEO, HASSELL designed a series of open plan work areas, meeting rooms and breakout spaces that connect fluidly with each other and provide a ‘composed backdrop for diverse creativity’.

Artichoke also notes that ‘the design successfully connects the office to its surrounds: the brick texture reflects the surrounding warehouses and vertical slits in the meeting rooms look through to the view beyond of sawtooth roofs and the Harbour Bridge’.
