An interview with HASSELL Director Ross de la Motte features in Straight Talk in the latest edition of Award magazine. Ross talks about the difficulties faced by the architectural profession in late 2008 and early 2009. He notes that ‘diversity is a real strength in any enterprise,’ and there is a ‘very strong push for knowledge based design’. Environmental issues and sustainable design are discussed and there is now ‘wide acceptance of this approach across the market’.
