YinZhou is the main southern district in the city of Ningbo, PR China, which plans to build up its 'urban image' in planning and expanding urban development. HASSELL won the initial planning stages through an international competition and were further commissioned to provide clear urban design guidelines for the future expansion of YinZHou within a balanced sustainable development approach to the urban area. Based on the principles of the urban area, HASSELL provided development guidelines, landscape guidelines, built form guidelines and controls and ESD proposals that will assist in the creation of core areas in the YinZhou district. |
