HASSELL were appointed designer of the Nanjing Singapore Hi-Tech Park after an international design competition in May 2003. Founded on the concept of connectivity, the master plan has adopted a corporate campus model. Individual buildings form clusters within precincts. A clear zoning framework allows phasing and land allocation to suit market demand, with flexibility for change over time. A unique landscape quality is combined with sustainable architecture to establish an integrated and consistent development with a unique sense of identity. Facilities accommodated on the site include residential, office, research and development, retail, business services, exhibition centre, hotel and SOHO.
