Maroubra Beach is one of southern Sydney's best kept secrets and recognised as one of the city's premier surfing beaches. Since 1998, HASSELL has been involved in the ongoing re-development of the Maroubra Beach foreshore, promenade and parkland area. The project included upgrading the existing foreshore promenade and seawall, design of a new amenities block built into the sandstone cliff face, new ramps and stairs facilitating universal beach access, and an upgrade of the Marine Parade streetscape and pavement. |
