Luotuo is the subcentre in the urban area of the Ningbo city district in PR China. This area is focused on the cultural landscape and the amenity of living environment for all residents. The integration of heritage buildings, the existing road network, canal and existing urbanisation are important elements to redefine the urban character of the existing districts. The HASSELL plan emphasises the urban environment, the heritage retention, redevelopment and renewal of the area to create an ecological sustainable green city through the accretion of human and natural environment. |
