HASSELL was commissioned by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to prepare a master plan to guide the development and use of land located 10 kilometres to the south of the Sydney Central Business District. The master plan prepared by HASSELL embodied principles to foster the development of enterprises associated with high technology. Associated land uses include a hotel, a reconfigured golf course, enhanced public access along the foreshores and through the site and extensive provisions to secure the preservation of ecologically significant wetlands and migratory bird habitats.
