Sydney Olympic Parklands Concept Plan

The Sydney Olympic Parklands, covering over 500 hectares at Homebush Bay, has been described as one of the greatest legacies of the Sydney Olympic Games. The concept plan was developed by HASSELL in association with Peter Walker and Partners and Bruce Mackenzie Design. The design is not only a benchmark for parks established on degraded lands in urban areas, but also provides a world model for metropolitan parklands of the 21st century and beyond.
