HASSELL were commissioned to undertake the landscape design for The Summit and The Centre, a Terry Farrell architect designed development in Puxi, Shanghai.
The Summit is the residential component of the development and features a central communal area for residents including a grand entry plaza and water feature, formal lawn, seating courtyards and pavilion overlooking the informal lake creating a multifunction space for residents.
The Centre is the commercial component of the development for which HASSELL ensured the main plaza area provided a contemporary and open entry to the 40 storey commercial tower. The paved plaza and lighting reinforces the relationship between landscape and architecture and a grand water feature announces arrival along the main pedestrian precinct.
