HASSELL undertook development master planning, architectural and landscape design for one of the most exclusive residential developments in Chongqing city. The overall project design approach was founded on the reinterpretation of massing of otherwise regimented apartment blocks. A modern, simple, approach was adopted to elicit the subtlety of contemporary urban living. The master planning of the residential blocks integrate the external and internal environments, emphasising the consistent external relationship between architecture and landscape. A truly unique approach has become a new benchmark for the local low-density residential market. |
