HASSELL enjoyed award success at both the SA and NSW/ACT Chapters of the National Association of Women in Construction Awards held Thursday, 16 August 2007.
HASSELL was awarded the inaugural South Australian Crystal Vision Award as well as the TAFE NSW Workplace Team Innovation Award. Both awards are in recognition of the parenting allowance and paid maternity leave that HASSELL introduced in July, which demonstrates our commitment to advancing women in our industry.
A creative company taking a creative approach to looking after its people, HASSELL recently introduced a parenting allowance program for our people along with six weeks of paid maternity leave. From 1 July 2007, HASSELL is paying a parenting allowance to the primary caregiver upon his/her return to work. The primary caregiver is entitled to a parenting allowance of $45 per day for 12 months from their return to work date, to be expended as thought fit by the employee
