Two HASSELL projects are published in the latest edition of FuturArc.

The cover feature, SA Water in Adelaide, highlights a benchmark in integrated environmentally sustainable design. Quoted in the article, South Australian Premier Mike Rann says, “This is the first and largest commercially developed building of its kind in Australia, and reinforces our commitment to improving the energy efficiency of government buildings by 25 percent from 2000–01 levels by 2014.”

Showcasing the best in the Asia Pacific Region, Project News profiles the HASSELL project, Sala@Sathorn as an example of a facade design that addresses the issues of glare and solar load. Sited in the main commercial district of Bangkok, this 23 storey commercial tower incorporates ‘the minimisation of internal columns’ with solar efficient facade treatments without compromising the sweeping views of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River.
