The Autumn issue of the Australian Institute of Architects’ Victorian chapter journal, Architect Victoria features an article by Ken Maher - HASSELL Chairman and the 2009 Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal recipient. In Turning Point, Ken writes about the development of the Docklands and “Melbourne’s aspiration for a new waterfront focus.” He notes, “energising and extending cities through the remaking of remnant industrial or working sites is  one of the design challenges of our time.”
