Coffee HQ at Melbourne Central is a fresh concept in coffee retailing specifically targeted at the quick in-transit coffee. The Melbourne Central outlet is the first fixed coffee bar, aimed at communters and shoppers, capturing the fluid and fast movement of the public space. It is proposed to establish similar outlets throughout Australia's transit zones such as railway stations, airports and internal shopping areas.

Designed by HASSELL to stand out within the surrounding mass of colour of the competing hospitality outlets, Coffee HQ draws the consumer with its bold circle orbiting around a central nodal point. The integration of graphics and design furthers the concept of the successful mobile coffee units, taking it into a new level of sophisticated retailing, demanded by the evolving environment.
