The Gordon Yu-Hoi Chiu Building is a linked annex to the Chemical Engineering Building at Sydney University. A generous benefactor, Gordon Yu-Hoi Chiu, provided the funding for this project, and accordingly HASSELL was briefed to design a building that would acknowledge this donation. The building contains laboratory spaces on the ground floor and a mezzanine level of offices. This major addition to the Chemical Engineering Building has been undertaken in conjunction with major alterations to the interior of the original building. |
