HASSELL provided design for a contemporary News Media College for the Journalism School of Fudan University, Shanghai. The design embraces sustainability principles and is characterised by a simple and modern approach expressing the function of the building in combination with facade design. A long, tall atrium uses coloured glass and transparent images to create a grand entry space filled with colour, shadow and light. The space celebrates modern electronic media by changing appearing throughout the day and night.
