HASSELL has been appointed to provide interior design and architecture services for ANZ's new workplace being developed by Lend Lease at 833 Collins Street, Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria.
This is the largest office building currently under construction in Australia with an area of 83,550sqm and will be home to over 6,500 staff. The building is registered for a Green Star rating with the Green Building Council of Australia for the categories 'Office as Built', 'Office Design' and 'Office Interiors'. ANZ is aiming for the highest current available environmental accreditations for the base building, and is also aiming high for the building fitout. Working with ANZ, the architecture will be provided in collaboration with Lend Lease Design. The resulting design will support ANZ's progressive culture and values, and environmental aspirations. The project is due for completion in late 2009.
