Professional Development. HASSELL has a large and varied professional development program. Professional development is regularly offered to all employees and is tailored to suit individual needs. Study Assistance - Registration and Professional Memberships. HASSELL supports its Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning graduates to sit their professional registration exams where registration is a pre-requisite to practice and annually renew their registration. The company supports registration by: - paying upfront half of the charges levied by the relevant registration / certification body associated with the application and examination process; - providing opportunity for senior people and potential registration candidates to be involved in tutorial style sessions to help candidates prepare for the exams; - paying the ongoing annual registration fees for all registered Architects, Landscape Architects and Planners; and - paying professional membership fees for senior employees.
HASSELL Health Plan - Discounted Corporate Health Insurance. The HASSELL Health Plan (Australia) offers employees discounted premiums on private health insurance with HASSELL reimbursing any hospital stay excess payments.
Employee Assistance Program. HASSELL offers employees and their immediate family access to an Employee Assistance Program. An external corporate psychology company has been engaged by HASSELL to provide totally independent professional counselling and assistance to help employees deal with work and life issues. Counselling is available throughout Australia. It is free, totally voluntary and above all, entirely confidential.

Paid Maternity Leave Permanent full-time and part-time female HASSELL employees with 12 months continuous service are entitled to receive 6 (six) weeks paid maternity leave.
Parenting Allowance HASSELL is also keen to offset parenting costs by offering a parenting allowance to the primary caregiver upon his/her return to work. The allowance is currently $45 for each workday for 12 months.
Flexible Work Arrangements The company supports part time work arrangements and flexibility in terms of dependant care responsibilities.
Breastfeeding Policy HASSELL has a breastfeeding policy that accommodates the needs of female employees and their children.
